Jim Shannon, creative director
Jim was an illustrator for clients like Harper Collins, The London Evening Standard and The Spectator before moving into design and art direction for advertising. In 1999, he became creative director of BSA Advertising, then creative director of Giraffe in 2003. He later opened NGI in 2010. He has written and art directed for Allied Irish Bank, British Airways, Elizabeth Arden, French Connection, Gibson, Dunn and Crutcher, ITV, John Lewis, Kurt Geiger, Lazard, Lonely Planet and Stolichnaya. He has judged the Ri5 and The Guardian CIPD creative awards.
Outside work, Jim is keen traveller and photographer. His images have appeared in many publications including National Geographic Traveller, The Guardian, The Observer and The Telegraph. Despite visiting over 40 countries, he is still scared of flying.
Joseph Sheffer, marketing executive
Joseph brings a wealth of FMCG knowledge and experience to NGI, giving our clients both strategic and creative direction for their brands. Outside work, Joseph is a keen adventurer and traveller.
Steve Newman, print consultant
Steve qualified in machine printing after five years training at the Berkshire College of Art which he followed up with a full apprenticeship. He now has 18 years' experience in the trade — experience he has passed on running courses in the United States and Australia. Steve's expertise ensures we can deliver superb quality print to deadline — even with demanding technical work.
